XXgr. powder charge is max. I list this load for folks that prefer the standard roll crimp slug loads, and it also gives users of HBBS 410 barrels another choice for loading. The roll crimp load is the most difficult load to master for the HBBS 410 but it can be a very good performer. The star crimp load is much easier to work with and our testing shows the star crimp to be a better choice for consistent performance in the HBBS barrels. This load gave 1.5" groups at 50 yds.

The roll crimp loads will require trimming and a good quality drill press to control the overall length of the hull; this is extremely important for good shooting with roll crimp loads. Also Forster's shell holder made for your drill press would be a good idea. This will insure correct alignment with your roll crimp tool and greatly improves the quality of your loads. The more attention to details and consistency to your finished loads the better they will perform.
